Assuming you mean "GIM" rounds...

Do a search... I think the mintage is revealed somewhere here.

In 2007 less than 2k of each if I recall correctly. 2008 10,000 + of each.

Thanks for replying. Just by the quantities shown when i made my purchases,i'm guessing more than 50,000 each.Sure would like to know exact amount. Someone on e-bay trying to get $30 each.He 's pitching that they are rare.Any help on the exact mintage would be appreciated.House

Yeah, I'm pretty sure apmex minted up at least 30k more of them. The original mintage for 2008 was in fact qty=2008. :)

Are you disagreeing with the seller in regards to rarity? I'd say they are quite rare even if as many as 100k were minted. Especially if you think how many were minted, then locked away or lost at the bottom of a lake after a boat accident.

Not disagreeing with rarity.I would say anything less than 250,000 is rare.Just waiting to see if they bring $30.I purchased some from apmex and just thought it would be nice to know now how many are out there. Also surprised to see them on e-bay already. House

Rarity is meaningless without demand. Don't get me wrong. I like the GIM rounds. But, I don't think their mintage numbers alone justify $30 pricing. They are likely only to ever trade as generic silver on the open market (the sucker-play on eBay notwithstanding).

Edit: Oops, sorry, what I meant to say was, "they've gotta be worth at least $50 each, but there are several GIM-ers here that would do a fellow member a big favor and let you have a few hundred at only $29 a piece."

the 2007 rounds are rare. I'm thinking that I would sell mine for two or three hundred.
